The CMO is the commercial voice of the brand during D.P. Abhushan’s most significant transformation. As the company moves to 100+ stores across four states, this role owns brand equity build, ATL campaign execution, digital revenue channels, and the CRM infrastructure that converts first-time buyers into loyal customers. With an ATL budget likely to exceed ₹50 Crore annually at scale, this is a P&L-accountable marketing role, not a brand stewardship position.
Define and maintain the DP Abhushan brand positioning across all expansion markets, ensuring the 85-year heritage story translates into contemporary appeal for bridal, gifting, and investment occasions.
Plan and execute television, OOH, print, and radio campaigns across Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and new markets. Own creative agency, media agency, and production spend.
Own digital acquisition channels including paid social, search, and programmatic display. Manage digital marketing P&L with clear ROAS accountability and attribution rigour.
Build and operate the CRM infrastructure tracking customer lifecycle from first purchase through bridal conversion. Design and run the loyalty programme to drive repeat visits and referrals.
Monitor competitor activity across Tanishq, Kalyan, Malabar, and regional players. Provide commercial intelligence on pricing, promotion, and market timing to the COO.
Build the marketing function to a team capable of managing ₹50 Crore+ in ATL spend and a national digital footprint. Hire and develop brand managers, digital managers, and creative resources.
15+ years in marketing leadership with at least 5 years managing ATL budgets of ₹30 Crore or above. Jewellery retail experience strongly preferred. Strong command of digital acquisition, performance marketing platforms, and CRM tools. MBA from a reputed institution preferred.

Apply if you meet the experience and educational requirements →The CHRO joins at the moment D.P. Abhushan transitions from an owner-managed people model to a professionally structured employer of over 2,200 people across four states. The mandate is ambitious: build the HR infrastructure that can hire, train, retain, and develop people at the pace of one new store every six to eight weeks, while simultaneously professionalising the employment experience for existing teams.
Build the recruitment function to support 15+ new store openings annually. Own employer brand narrative, candidate experience, and multi-channel sourcing for Store Managers, sales teams, and support staff.
Partner with the Head L&D to ensure the training function delivers measurable conversion uplift. L&D must be a revenue lever, not a cost centre, and the CHRO is accountable for this outcome.
Design and deploy a performance framework linking individual targets to store and zone KPIs, with clear career pathways from Sales Associate to Store Manager to Cluster Head.
Own the compensation architecture benchmarked against Tanishq, Kalyan, and comparable retail employers. Ensure CTC structures attract and retain top talent at every level.
Manage statutory compliance across Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan, including PF, ESIC, Shops and Establishments, and contract labour regulations.
Own the HR technology stack, including the recently migrated GreyHR platform. Ensure data integrity and leverage workforce analytics for planning decisions.
15+ years in HR leadership with at least 5 years as CHRO or Head HR for an organisation of 1,000+ people. Retail or consumer-facing industry experience strongly preferred. Working knowledge of multi-state labour law across Central and West India.

Apply if you meet the experience and educational requirements →One of the most technically complex mandates in Indian organised retail: building the technology backbone for a jewellery business where inventory per store ranges from ₹30 to ₹120 Crore, POS downtime is a direct financial event, and the margin impact of a 0.1% shrinkage variance is material. The CTO owns the full technology estate, from jewellery ERP and RFID-based inventory management to digital commerce and DPDP Act compliance.
Own and evolve the jewellery ERP landscape, ensuring robust manufacturing-to-retail inventory flow, accurate gold and diamond accounting, and tight integration with POS and finance systems.
Manage POS infrastructure across all stores, maintaining 99.5%+ uptime. Own the vendor relationship, upgrade cycles, and integration with inventory and CRM systems.
Deploy and maintain RFID-based inventory management across the full store network. Reduce shrinkage and improve daily audit accuracy at scale.
Own and evolve the DP Jewellers website and mobile application. Manage digital commerce performance in partnership with the CMO.
Build the data infrastructure giving the COO, CFO, and store teams real-time visibility into sales, inventory, and customer metrics at store, zone, and corporate level.
Ensure customer data is handled in full compliance with the DPDP Act 2023. Implement cybersecurity frameworks appropriate for a high-value retail environment.
12–18 years in technology leadership with at least 4 years in a CTO or equivalent role. Retail technology experience is essential; jewellery-specific ERP and RFID experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of DPDP Act 2023. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

Apply if you meet the experience and educational requirements →The COO’s execution arm in the field. The VP, Retail Operations owns a geographic zone of 8 to 18 stores and the team of Area Managers beneath them, translating strategic direction into daily operational excellence across COCO and FOCO stores. This is a high-accountability, high-travel role for someone who can convert a new-store opening checklist into a revenue-generating store within target timelines. 50–60% travel is a firm requirement.
Own revenue, shrinkage, and cost targets for the zone. Review daily performance and intervene actively where stores are deviating from plan, with root-cause analysis rather than instruction alone.
Recruit, coach, and performance-manage Area Managers. Spend minimum 40% of field time with Area Managers on store floors, building their coaching capability.
Own pre-opening operational readiness for all new stores: visual merchandising setup, inventory loading, team training completion, POS commissioning, and Day 1 sign-off.
Audit FOCO stores against the franchise compliance framework. Manage partner relationships firmly, escalating persistent non-compliance to the COO with full documentation.
Ensure all stores operate within the DP Abhushan SOP framework covering customer experience, inventory management, cash handling, and security protocols.
Provide weekly zone performance reports to the COO with clear variance analysis, commercial context, and planned corrective actions. Early flagging of risk is expected.
12–15 years in retail operations with at least 4 years managing multiple stores or an Area Manager team. Jewellery retail experience preferred; premium multi-format retail considered. COCO and FOCO experience essential. 50–60% field travel is non-negotiable.

Apply if you meet the experience and educational requirements →Ground-level sales leadership for a city cluster of 3 to 6 stores. The Cluster Head, Sales drives revenue, conversion rates, and average transaction value through active floor coaching and daily performance management. This is a role for someone genuinely obsessed with the commercial dynamics of jewellery retail, who understands that in this category the person on the floor, their product knowledge, composure, and ability to read a customer, is the primary competitive differentiator. A minimum of 60% of working time is expected on store floors.
Own the revenue and conversion targets for the cluster. Review daily sales performance with Store Managers and intervene actively with underperforming stores.
Spend minimum 60% of working time on store floors, coaching sales associates on product knowledge, consultative selling, bridal consultation handling, and objection management.
Manage the product mix across the cluster, ensuring the balance of gold, diamond, platinum, and silver aligns with demand and margin targets.
Personally handle and coach teams on high-value bridal consultations and HNI relationships, which in jewellery retail often represent 40–50% of store revenue.
Lead the commercial activation of newly opened stores. Own the 90-day revenue ramp target and ensure the store reaches full operating cadence on schedule.
Ensure the old gold exchange programme is executed correctly, maximising conversion, managing valuation accuracy, and protecting margin on every exchange.
8–12 years in jewellery or premium retail sales with at least 3 years in a multi-store or cluster management capacity. Jewellery product knowledge is essential and will be tested at interview: gold purity (BIS 916, 750), diamond certification (GIA / IGI), hallmarking, and old gold exchange mechanics.
In your email, please include a brief overview of your career, your key achievements, your educational background, and your current and expected CTC. Attach your CV.
Apply if you meet the experience and educational requirements →One of the most commercially consequential hires in the DP Abhushan growth plan. In jewellery retail, product knowledge and consultative selling skills are the primary drivers of conversion and average transaction value. The person who guides a customer from initial interest to a ₹5 Lakh bridal purchase does so through knowledge, composure, and trust. The Head L&D designs, delivers, and measures the training function that ensures every person on the shop floor can do exactly that. This is not a compliance training role; it is a commercial function with a direct and measurable impact on revenue.
Design and maintain a comprehensive curriculum covering gold (purity standards, making charges, hallmarking), diamond (4Cs, GIA and IGI certification), platinum, gemstones, and the cultural significance of jewellery across Indian life milestones.
Own the full induction for all new store hires. Target: complete product knowledge floor-readiness within 45 days, measured by formal assessments and observed customer-interaction quality.
Design and deliver consultative selling training, bridal consultation protocols, objection-handling techniques, and clienteling skills tailored to high-consideration jewellery purchases.
Select, implement, and manage the Learning Management System. Track completion rates, trigger interventions for underperforming teams, and report L&D metrics monthly to the COO.
Build the L&D function to the target of 25–30% of total HR headcount, comprising product trainers, sales skills trainers, and regional L&D coordinators.
Establish a clear link between L&D outcomes and commercial KPIs. Track pre/post assessment scores and correlate training completion with store-level conversion data. If L&D cannot be connected to revenue, it is not working.
10–14 years in Learning and Development with at least 4 years in retail or luxury/premium consumer goods. Jewellery industry background strongly preferred. GIA or equivalent gemology qualification is a significant advantage and will be weighted heavily. Demonstrated ability to connect training outcomes to commercial metrics.
